If you install the surveillance station pro from the QPKG then it will require you to buy the license but new cameras will be supported as we update them. If you do already have the regular surveillance station, then you should still be able to use the cameras without the license. The downside to that is that, that station will never be updated again with any cameras and there will not be any more changes to it in the future. You must install it manually to use the Surveillance station Pro so if you didn't do it, you will still be able to use the 2-4 camera that is available.
